The Cape Bridgewater/Portland Coastal Camp features a range of activities including surfing, a seal colony tour, kayaking, sandboarding, caving, and team challenges. The excursion is designed to give students a direct experience of the coastal environment, while the adventure activities help them build new skills and develop teamwork, self-esteem, confidence, and persistence.

Year 7 Camp
Our Year 7 students attend a three-day camp at Roses Gap Recreation Centre. The camp provides opportunities for students to participate in a range of outdoor activities including bushwalking, canoeing, high ropes, archery and team-based challenges. Through shared experiences, games and social activities, students build friendships, develop trust, and strengthen connections as they begin their secondary school journey.

Our Summer Sport gives students the opportunity to represent the school and compete against other schools in the region. It’s a fantastic way to build skills, teamwork and school pride while enjoying some friendly rivalry! Students can participate in basketball, tennis, table tennis, lawn bowls, volleyball and cricket.

Sonya Karras Year 12 Safe Partying Session
Sonya is one of Australia’s leading experts and speakers on adolescent and family issues facing young people today. With a down-to-earth and engaging approach, she is passionate about opening up conversations around topics often considered taboo - making “talking about the tough stuff” easier for young people, families and educators.
Each year, she presents to more than 300 secondary schools across Australia, covering topics such as safe partying, career pathways, drugs and alcohol, self-esteem, bullying and cyberbullying, leadership, body image and relationships, as well as delivering seminars for parents and teachers.
